The professionalism labs have been a great success!
Today's students need to walk out the door of the university prepared for their careers on Day 1. Recognizing this, the University of Texas at Arlington created the professionalism labs in order to improve the “soft” skills of UTA’s students.
Topics in this course are intended to encourage professionalism and include but are not limited to: completing self-assessments; practicing professional and social etiquette, professional deportment, networking abilities, career initiation and development, effective communication skills, time management; and learning to dress professionally.
